The No-Bake Sale fundraiser continues, as we are seeking to offset the cost of pest control. Donations for this purpose may be placed in the jar located on the information table.


Thanks to everyone who returned pledge cards on or before the requested date of this past Sunday, November 10. If you would like to make a pledge but have not yet done so, please submit your card to the church office ASAP. Additional pledge cards are available on the information table.


Covenant is scheduled for Salvation Army bell ringing at Wal-Mart on Friday, December 13 (noon to 8:00 p.m.). A sign-up sheet for volunteers is posted on the information table.


Covenant is collecting Knorr Pasta Sides (preferably Alfredo flavor) for the Holiday Project this year. Our goal is 750 units. Donations may be placed in the blue tub in the foyer.


Covenant is collecting non-perishable foods to be placed in Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for local families in need. Monetary donations to be used for the purchase perishable foods are also welcome. Donations may be placed in the Red Wagon.


There will be a congregational meeting at the end of worship on Sunday, November 24, to elect elders to the Session Class of 2022 and to fill one vacancy in the class of 2020.


Volunteers are needed to help with Children’s Church. A sign-up sheet is posted on the information table.


Session will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, in the conference room.


The deadline for the December-January newsletter is noon on Monday, November 18.


Westminster Circle will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, in the parlor.


An adult Bible Study class on the book of Revelation meets in the parlor on Sundays at 7:00 p.m. (September 8 – November 17). We are using Charles Talbert’s commentary on the Apocalypse, which is available in the church office for $22. Each meeting begins with a dessert fellowship.


Please contact David Van Horn at 660-815-7707 if you are in need of pastoral care.


From the Mission & Evangelism Committee: twin bedding; hygiene kits (toothpaste, combs, and shampoo); towels and washcloths; laundry detergent; and canned goods; are still needed for the Fresh Start house. We also continue to collect Hygiene Kits for the new Lighthouse Shelter and the HOOT Resource Center as well as unopened travel-size toiletries for the Red Suitcase and diapers and diaper coupons for the Baby Grace program.


Al-Anon family group meets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays in Covenant’s conference room. Anyone whose life has been affected by someone else’s alcohol and/or drug abuse is invited to attend.
