  • Covenant is collecting soap for the Community Food pantry during the months of June and July (liquid and bar form are fine, but no sanitizer please). Donations may be given to ushers upon arrival for worship or placed in the Red Wagon in the foyer.

A sign-up sheet is posted in the foyer for anyone willing to loan potted arrangements of flowers/plants to the church for display in fellowship seating areas during the 150th Anniversary Celebration on August 15.

Session will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20.

The deadline for the August newsletter is Monday, July 26.

Would you like to have a piece of Covenant? We have "Dalle de verre" stained glass panels from the sanctuary light pendants which make suncatchers to display as you like. Due to limited supply, only one will be available to each member household for a donation of $50. Sign up to purchase this Sunday!

On July 11, Covenant began a trial period of a shared pastoral relationship with Longwood Presbyterian Church, during which time Rev. Olson is lead worship services for both congregations. In order to accommodate this change, our worship services are beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays from July 11-August 8. Worship for the 150th Anniversary Celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 15.

Be sure to like Covenant's Facebook page (Marshall Covenant Presbyterian Church "LOVE GROWS HERE") and check back for information about our upcoming 150th Anniversary Celebration on August 15.

In order to provide adequate funds for our youth to attend camp this summer, Covenant is conducting a "Wall of Money" fundraiser. Envelopes numbered 1 through 100 are available on the bulletin board outside the choir room. Please prayerfully consider at what level you might be able to support this effort, and enclose your donation in the envelope corresponding to the amount in dollars that you are donating. You may place your donation in the offering plate on Sunday or return it directly to the church office. Let's all do our part to give our kids a great and meaningful summer!

If you are in need of pastoral care outside of church office hours, please contact Rev. Phil Olson at 810-845-2078.
