on Sunday. Tune your radio to 90.5 FM and adjust the volume as necessary.

(Please note that we are adjusting the frequency to eliminate interference

from radio stations.)

Prayer Friends of the Week:

Our prayer friends this week are Kile & Sandi Guthrey. Kile is Presiding

Commissioner of Saline County and a retired social studies teacher and

coach. Sandi is a retired teacher as well. Kile & Sandi and their children

Kip, Kathy, Ryan, and Libby joined Covenant in the 1980's and the children

were confirmed in our congregation. Both Kile & Sandi have served as elders,

and Sandi has been Clerk of Session for a term and previously worked as the

church secretary. Sandi's committee service includes Fellowship & Care and

working with the Home Delivered Meals program. Kile serves on the property

committee, and they have been co-chairs of the Pulled Pork Dinner committee.

Please remember them in your prayers this week, and perhaps take a moment to
send them an encouraging email, card or note.

The Fellowship & Care Committee is asking for donations of greeting cards.

Cards can be given to ushers or left inside the church.

We will have a drive-by Valentine's Day parade after worship on Sunday,

February 14, for several of our senior adult households. Members of the

Covenant family are invited to bring Valentine snacks and treats to drive-in

worship that day for distribution along the route.

Covenant's Ash Wednesday service will be a drive-in service at 5:30 p.m. on

Wednesday, February 17.

Rather than following the assigned greeter/usher schedule, the Worship

Committee invites volunteers who are willing to hand out bulletins and

receive offerings at our drive-in services to contact the church office to

indicate dates of availability.

The Worship Committee invites members of the covenant family to communicate

announcements, joys and concerns by phone or email to the church office by

close of business on Fridays in order for them to be shared during drive-in

The church office is aware of volunteers who are willing to help with the

needs of those trying to maintain optimal self-isolation. If you are in need

of assistance with errands, please contact the church office.

Please contact David Van Horn at 660-815-7707 if you are in need of pastoral
